Privacy policy

Every calculator on this site runs client-side in JavaScript. The values you enter are processed on your own device and are never transmitted to us, stored on a server, or retained after you close the page.

Answerivo has no accounts, no login, and no user profiles. We do not ask for your name, email address, or any other identifying information to use the calculators.

The contact form composes a message in your own email application; it does not submit anything to us directly. If you choose to send that email, we receive whatever you wrote along with your email address, and we use it only to reply to you.

We record a small set of anonymous usage signals on our own servers so we can see which calculators are genuinely useful. What we store: the page path viewed, whether a calculator was used, which in-tool features or related links were clicked, how long a page was actively engaged with, the referring website or campaign tag, a coarse device type (mobile, tablet or desktop), and a two-letter country code that our hosting network already resolves.

What we never store: the numbers you type, any result the calculator produces, your IP address, your email address, your name, or any other detail that identifies you. We do not buy, sell, enrich or combine this data with anything else.

To count visits and sessions without identifying anyone, your browser holds two random identifiers on your own device — one for the browser tab session and one that lets us tell a repeat visit apart from a first visit. They are random values with no personal meaning, they are only used by this site, and clearing your browser storage removes them permanently.

This site uses Google Analytics 4 to record aggregate usage — pages viewed, referring site, approximate region, device type, and page speed. Google sets cookies or similar identifiers for this purpose and processes the data under its own policy. We never send the values you type into a calculator, and we do not use analytics data to identify you.

Our hosting platform also records basic, aggregate traffic measurements for this site — such as page requests, referring site, approximate region derived from the network address, and browser or device type — so we can see which pages are used. This measurement is aggregate, is not used to build a profile of you, and never includes the values you type into a calculator. Search engine tools such as Google Search Console and Bing Webmaster Tools also report aggregate search data for the site, which contains no personal information about individual visitors.

If advertising or affiliate links are introduced in the future, third-party providers may set cookies or collect usage data under their own policies, and this page will be updated to name them before that happens.

The analytics provider described above sets cookies or similar identifiers to recognise repeat visits in aggregate.

We do not set advertising or cross-site tracking cookies, and nothing you enter into a calculator is stored in a cookie. Aggregate hosting measurement may rely on request data or a functional identifier rather than a marketing cookie. Any other storage is strictly functional, such as remembering a display preference on your own device.

Answerivo is a general-purpose business tool and is not directed at children. We do not knowingly collect information from anyone, including children.
