About

Calculators instead of spreadsheets

Answerivo exists because the same handful of calculations keep getting rebuilt from scratch — in a notebook, on a phone calculator, or in a spreadsheet that only one person understands.

What we build

Each of our 28 calculators does one job. Not a general-purpose spreadsheet, not a suite you have to learn — a single page that takes the inputs you already have and returns the number you were going to work out by hand.

The calculators cover work where small math errors have real cost: feed inventory and cost per head, material markup and margin, fully burdened labor rates, rental cash flow, break-even revenue, machine cost per hour, and overtime pay.

How we build them

Every calculator states the formula it uses and walks through a worked example with real numbers, so you can verify the output rather than trust it. Where a convention is required — a 2,000 lb short ton, a 30.42-day average month, principal-and-interest-only mortgage payments — we name it on the page instead of burying it.

Inputs are validated. If you enter an ending feed inventory larger than what you started with plus deliveries, or a gross margin of zero, you get a specific message rather than a confidently wrong result.

Privacy by default

All calculations run in your browser. There is no account, no login, and nothing you type is transmitted or stored. See our privacy policy for details.

How Answerivo is funded

Answerivo is free to use. Over time it may carry advertising, affiliate links to tools we think are genuinely useful, or optional premium calculators for heavier professional work. We will not place advertising that impersonates results, and a calculator’s math will never change based on who is paying.

Tell us what to build next

The best requests come from people describing the spreadsheet they are tired of maintaining. Suggest a calculator and describe the inputs and the answer you need.
